How the Library can help you |
|
The Library provides a wide range of print
and electronic resources to help you with your teaching and
research. This guide is intended to
provide you with a starting point so that you can make the
best use of these resources. Throughout this guide, the
term Library is used to include campus libraries and Learning
Resource Centres/LRCs.
Please introduce yourself
to a member of the Social Science Library Subject
Team on your campus (details below) as soon as possible so that we can show
you the services and resources in your subject area.
The Library produces a range
of printed guides and these are available in your campus Library/LRC.
In addition, there is a comprehensive overview of the services
offered by the Library on our
website.
From this page, you can access your borrowing record,
renew material that you have on loan or reserve an item currently
on loan to another borrower. You can access databases and
electronic journals or request document delivery/interlibrary
loans. The
Subject Guide for
Social Sciences has useful
information on the huge range of library sources available for
the main subject areas taught in the Faculty and includes links to evaluated
resources on the Internet.
Follow the links below for
more information.
