This site has a Media Law section which breaks the subject down, including such aspects as defamation and "new media" concerns such as cyber squatting, freedom of speech on the internet etc. the site also contains information on relevant legislation, cases, core concepts etc. Also has an excellent links page.

  MCPS-PRS Alliance

Amalgamation of two major performing rights societies. The site include an FAQ on copyright in performing and media and information on licences required to broadcast of otherwise use music in a range of circumstances

Part of the Council of Europe, this site is responsible for film, video/DVD television and new media, i.e. internet etc. It has a Media, Law and Policy section and an extremely impressive links page to national, European and international bodies
