UK sites
Office of Fair Trading Essential information for businesses on how to comply with legislation enforced by the OFT, advice on consumer issues, information on the progress of investigations and leaflets and reports available to download.		Department for Business, Innovation and Skills Formerly the Department for Trade and Industry. The section on Better Business contains a ranges of statutes, regulations etc. relating to businesses and companies. It also has an archive of documents relating to company law. Other sections include information on specific sectors, EU and External trade etc. There's also an Employment section dealing with all aspects of employment, redundancy, contracts and trade unions. Each page also has a useful links section.
HM Treasury Department responsible for formulating and putting into effect the UK Government's financial and economic policy. See: Consultation and Legislation Index for more information		Inland Revenue Featuring news and information on tax and national insurance matters in the United Kingdom. The Legislation section contains the relevant statutes, but other leaflets and documents are available relating to tax rates, allowances etc. for individuals as well as businesses

Intellectual Property Office Website of the UK Patent Office. Official information on Design, Trademarks, Copyright, Intellectual Property and Patents.		Gray's Inn Chambers Articles and transcripts of tax cases and good links page, e.g. Chartered Institute of Taxation
