Service Description

The Library offers a growing collection of e-books (electronic books) covering a wide range of subject areas, most of which are available online from anywhere at any time. There are over 11,300 e-books accessible via the Library Catalogue and titles are added continually in support of the University's teaching programmes. In addition, the Library's databases provide access to over 700,000 full text e-books, reports and documents.

The service is available 24/7, except for system maintenance. Access is through the University Portal (Library and ICT tab), directly from the Library Catalogue, or via the Library Service Point on Blackboard Learn. Our responsibility includes the acquisition of materials in accordance with the Ulster University Library Collections and Information Access Policy.

Who can avail of the service?

Current University staff and students and other authorised affiliates. All Ulster staff and students are issued with an ID and network password which is used to access the online resources, both on and off campus.
