** This scheme has been suspended. No further applications for membership of the Library of Ulster University via the Inspire Scheme are being taken **

If you are a holder of a current INSPIRE NI passport, you can apply to join the Ulster University Library as a borrower.

INSPIRE borrowers may borrow up to 2 standard loan books from any of our libraries. They can also request books to be sent between any of our Campus Libraries.

INSPIRE membership of the Ulster University Library is usually for the valid duration of your INSPIRE passport card and can be renewed on presentation of an updated INSPIRE passport card.

Applications must be made online. If you have difficulty with this please contact us using the details below. Your Ulster University borrower card will be sent to your home address within five working days.

We will send you a guide to using the library for INSPIRE borrowers along with your new borrower card.

You will need to present your INSPIRE passport card AND your borrower card the first time you come to use the library.

We regret that access to e-journals, databases and other online resources is not available to INSPIRE borrowers because of strict licensing rules limiting access to current staff and students of the University.

If you have any questions about joining the Ulster University Library as an INSPIRE member, or about getting hold of an INSPIRE passport, please contact:
