The
European Union Legislation database, updated weekly, includes
the following types of documents:
- Primary law -- Treaties
establishing the Communities; Annexes and Protocols,
Treaties of accession of the new Member States; the Single Act;
the Treaty on European Union.
- International Agreements -- Agreements
between the European Communities and other countries which result
from external relations maintained by the Communities.
- Community Legal Instruments --
Secondary legislation or law adopted by the Council and the
Commission, whether binding or not. This includes regulations,
directives, decisions, opinions, resolutions, and some
communications and reports.
- Supplementary Legislation
- Preparatory acts
- Parliamentary questions
- National provisions implementing
