It covers the physical sciences, engineering, computing, geography, mathematics and environmental science. The database currently contains 34342 records.

Find Suppliers and Information for over 9 Million Unique Chemicals
World wide composites search engine
The Worldwide Composites Search Engine is devoted to the materials, processes and companies involved in the Composites Industry. The search engine only contains information on companies and products which are deemed to be relevant to the composites industry. All submissions to the database are reviewed by WWC staff.
Polymer search on the Internet
PSI is a free Internet search engine dedicated to the polymer industries. Only sites that offer considerable content directly related to rubber, plastics or adhesives are indexed. Each web site submitted for inclusion in PSI is vetted before inclusion in the search engine
AEA Technology plc
This innovation business focuses on technology based products, specialised science, environmental management, improving the efficiency of industrial plant, and risk assessment and safety management.

Societies

American Institute of Chemical Engineers
AIChE fosters and disseminates chemical engineering knowledge, supports the professional and personal growth of over 50,000 members, and applies the expertise of its members to address societal needs throughout the world.
Institution of Chemical Engineers
IChemE is a UK-based membership organisation for chemical engineers and those in allied disciplines, with a world-wide membership approaching 25,000.  The website contains an excellent list of links to useful resources.
International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry
IUPAC (formed 1919) serves to advance the worldwide aspects of the chemical sciences and to contribute to the application of chemistry in the service of Mankind. As a scientific, international, non-governmental and objective body, IUPAC addresses many global issues involving the chemical sciences. Teh website includes numerous full text reports.
Royal Society of Chemistry
The RSC is the Learned Society for the chemical sciences and the Professional Body for chemical scientists in the UK with over 46,000 members worldwide. The RSC is a major publisher and provider of chemical information, and supports the teaching of the chemical sciences at all levels.
ChemSoc
Chemsoc is a brand new site for chemists and is the home of the RSC's chemistry societies' electronic network. The site provides interesting features and useful services for the chemistry community.

Dow Chemical Company
Dow is a leading science and technology company that provides innovative chemical, plastic and agricultural products and services to many essential consumer markets.
European Chemical Society
The European Chemical Society aims to promote European Chemistry both inside and outside Europe, and to network and unite chemists at the European level. The website includes useful WWW links for chemists.
Society of Dyers and Colourists
The Society of Dyers and Colourists is the world’s leading professional organisation devoted exclusively to advancing the science of colour.
Paint Research Association
