A large part of the Library's collections are electronic resources available online, including:
- The Library's new discovery service offers a Google-like search across many of the Library databases with links to thousands of e-journals. It presents a single results list of journal articles, conference papers, reports & more. To find books (including e-books), printed journals & other hard copy material please use the Library Catalogue.

- The Library subscribes to over 400 subject-based bibliographic and full-text databases. Accessible to all registered members of the University via the Library & ICT tab on the University Portal or the Library's Databases page.
- Electronic Journals
- As well as our significant collection of printed journals, the Library offers access to a wide range of Electronic Journals, available both on and off-campus. Over 22,000 titles are available from our E-Journals A-Z list. Our e-journal platform also offers the 'U Find It' service which ingeniously displays full-text availability against search results for many of our databases.
- The Library has a growing collection of Electronic Books available across all subject areas and available from anywhere at any time. There are over 4,000 e-Books accessible via the Library Catalogue and titles are being continually added when required.
